(MHAT) Hub

Located at 430 Cannon Street East, our hub provides holistic, low-barrier access to care for Hamilton’s most vulnerable populations. We meet people where they are—offering everything from drop-in supports to intensive, bed-based addictions treatment and supportive recovery services.

What We Offer

Our program follows a voluntary, abstinence-based model rooted in the 5 Stages of Change: Engagement, Contemplation, Preparation, Community Residential Treatment, Therapeutic Recovery Maintenance, providing tailored support throughout each step of the recovery journey. As clients progress, they can access a full continuum of care including:

  • Primary care and specialty health services
  • Mental health and addiction care, counseling, and supports
  • Case management, employment, life skills and social reintegration, social assistance
  • Specialized support for Black, Indigenous, and Francophone populations
  •  Wrap-around supports like laundry, shower, food, collective kitchens, ID, and many more
  •  Needle drop-off
  • Bed-based intensive addiction treatment and supportive recovery services
  • Placement to transition shelter beds and supportive housing units

Whether you are still contemplating your journey, ready to begin intensive addiction treatment or in therapeutic recovery maintenance, the MHAT Hub offers holistic, compassionate, and culturally safe support every step of the way to maintain stability in all aspects of your health and wellness.
