10-week class that teaches men strategies and skills to manage their emotions. Provides men a safe space to socialize. Discuss topics related to men’s health and well-being.
Women’s health group with a special focus on issues related to racialized, immigrant, refugee, and poor women living in the inner-city core.
Program where older adults are provided education on chronic disease and learn self-management skills to maintain good health. Special focus on lifestyle modification including weight and blood pressure control. Registration required.
Bi-Weekly program for immigrant women to address health and wellness related issues specific to new immigrant women
Nine-week program to provide education in nutrition, budgeting, meal planning and preparation when on a limited income.
Adults clients at-risk or diagnosed with diabetes learn how to manage the disease and maintain overall health & wellness. Once a week for 8 – 10 weeks, the program is facilitated by a Registered Nurse and includes health activities, short excursions and guest speakers.
Informal space where adult clients at-risk of developing diabetes or living with the disease can offer each other peer support. A Registered nurse facilitates the session focused on diabetes management, peer support and resource sharing.
Weekly support group that uses art as a means to support mental health and social engagement.
