Nine-week program to provide education in nutrition, budgeting, meal planning and preparation when on a limited income.
Informal space where adult clients at-risk of developing diabetes or living with the disease can offer each other peer support. A Registered nurse facilitates the session focused on diabetes management, peer support and resource sharing.
Adults clients at-risk or diagnosed with diabetes learn how to manage the disease and maintain overall health & wellness. Once a week for 8 - 10 weeks, the program is facilitated by a Registered Nurse and includes health activities, short excursions and guest speakers.
